We are thrilled to have Chief Judge Christine Williams preside over our wedding ceremony. Judge Williams and Sam have worked together for years at Wilton Rancheria and taught together at McGeorge School of Law. Judge Williams has been an amazing mentor to Sam and a huge supporter of our relationship since its inception.

Tan and John are the epitome of opposites attract. They became fast friends while working for Best Buy over 17 years ago, mostly because of Tanveer’s outgoing nature. Tan is the fun, let loose, extroverted life of the party to John’s more reserved, quiet, not at all a partier. Tanveer and John bonded over their similar upbringings, the values their parents instilled in them, their work ethic and that they are both audiophiles. Tanveer and John would often spend nights hanging out sharing new music with one another. Tan is one of the only people that John regularly talks to on the phone and definitely the only one who he FaceTimes. They consider themselves brothers and would do anything they could for one another. No matter where they have found themselves in the life, they continue to be there for one another.

John and G met at Best Buy. While John was thick as thieves with Tan, G’s brother, John and G did not get off to a great start. That was John’s fault, telling G the first time they met at work that he would never fill his brother’s shoes. Little did John know that he and G would have a lot in common and grow to be great friends. John and G have similar personalities, share a strong work ethic, became managers together and share a passion for photography. They have often found themselves on outings around the state taking photos from Tower Bridge to Yosemite. John and G also share a passion for music. G takes that passion to a whole other level as he is a very talented musician who has recorded with famous artists like A Tribe Called Quest. John couldn’t ask for a better little brother.

Brad is the Will to Sam's Grace and the Dionne to her Cher. They have been friends ever since they were 18 and met while working at Abercrombie & Fitch. They studied abroad, traveled the world, been roommates, and generally navigated life together for the last 23 years. Sadly, neither Brad nor Sam will be sporting the highlights pictured above at the wedding.

Miya has been an amazing friend to Sam since they met in junior high at Gloria Dei. They have remained friends through college, graduate school, and into their respective careers. No matter how busy her schedule may be, Miya always manages to make time to be a constant friend and support to Sam. Sam truly admires the strong, intelligent woman that Miya is and is so grateful for her constant love, friendship, and the occasional medical advice.

Sam and Rebecca became fast friends during their first year of law school. They ran their law fraternity and served as the co-editors of the law journal. They kept each other sane, occasionally had fun, and somehow still managed to graduate. Since graduation, Rebecca has become a successful attorney, wife, and mother but continues to ignore her true calling as an internet detective.
